Costa Rica to digitalize permits and boost investment

Costa Rica would boost real estate investment if the government digitalizes its processes, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

An accord signed between the country's authorities and the College of Engineers aims to develop a digital system for permits for new construction projects.

Currently, 48 municipalities already offer the services, and is expected to spread to all 81 municipalities by early 2014.
