Costa Rica to hold summit to promote medical tourism

Representatives of 13 countries and 200 companies will take part in the 2012 International Business Summit on Medical Tourism to be held in Costa Rica next month.

The forum aims to promote Costa Rica and Latin America in general as destinations for medical tourism, principally for US patients.

The companies involved include hospitals, hotels specialized travel agencies and insurers.
