Costa Rica tourism bucks trend of world economy

The international economy looks like it is heading for a slowdown, but in Costa Rica the tourism successor has already marked up successes in what appears to be a positive year, boosted by successful promotions and the quality of the finished product.

"Last year 's results were very positive and we aim too begin 2020 in the same positive vein," said Shirley Calvo, executive director of the National Tourism Chamber, La República reports in Spanish.
