Costa Rica university makes historic investment

The University of Costa Rica, the UCR, is making an investment of $170 million, one of the biggest in its history, to boost its facilities.

The money will come from a Banco de Costa Rica trust fund, a loan from the World Bank, and in part from the UCR’s regular budget.
