Costa Rica urged to build subway for San José

Monday, August 13, 2012

Costa Rica should think more on a subway instead of a tram to solve the transport problems of San José, says the Costa Rica Association of Geotechnology.

Panama is building a subway. Guatemala and El Salvador are discussing the options of implementing the idea in their capital cities.

In the case of Costa Rica, it is committed to the tram concept that the president of Geotecnica, Marco Tapia, says is not the right option.
