Costa Rican airlines spread their wings

More flights and destinations, including several to neighboring countries, are the novelties being unveiled by Costa Rican airlines for this year.

Skyway Costa Rica is in the final stage of securing permits for trips to Bocas del Toro and David in Panama, while Aerobell Airlines will add to its portfolio in both Panama and Nicaragua.

In addition to the foreign destinations, the companies are boosting domestic flights to such destinations as Nosara, Quepos, Tambor and Tortuguero.

As part of the expansion plans, the Costa Rican airlines will need to purchase more planes.
