Costa Rican franchises grow by 28 percent a year

Costa Rica has 221 franchises and they are growing by 28 percent a year.

Most of the franchises are from the food, drinks and services sector, including names such as La Selecta, La Oliva Verde and Fogo Brasil.

The Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce is holding a franchising exhibition currently in San José.
