Costa Rican hotel occupation rate surges to 53 percent. Biggest increases reported on the southern Pacific Coast

Hotel occupation rates in Costa Rica increased to 53 percent in August.

The increase is significant. A year earlier the rate stood at 48 percent.

The southern Pacific Coast is where the increase in reservations by tourists was highest.
