Costa Rican president's popularity plummets

The popularity of Costa Rican president Laura Chinchilla continues to drop, Costa Rican newspaper La República reported.

Public opinion about Chinchilla worsened in the last three months, where now 68 percent of people view her negatively, a poll by CID-Gallup showed.

Among the main reasons was awarding a tender to Brazils OAS to modernize a highway to San Ramón.
