Costa Rican publishers want pirates to be jailed

Publishing companies have asked the Costa Rican authorities to impose jail sentences on people who copy books as a business.
The publishers remain, however, sensitive to the needs of low-income students who need access to expensive books.
Publishing plays an important role in the nation's economy, generating 80,000 jobs and an equal number of indirect.
