Costa Rican state university is number one in the Web

Webometrics placed Universidad de Costa Rica as the top university in the Central American and Caribbean region in terms of Internet presence.

Twice a year, Webometrics evaluates the Internet presence of over 20,000 universities around the world.

Costa Rica's main state university came in at number 285 on the global list, up 118 spots from the last study.
