Costa Rican Super-Internet project faces trouble

Banco de Costa Rica said it has frozen a loan requested by state telecoms company ICE for a Super-Internet project, Costa Rican daily La República reported.
The bank based its decision on a number of legal problems surrounding the project.
ICE said it had considered the possibility of a cancellation of the loan, and even considered the possibility of a lawsuit by the Banco Nacional in its most recent report requested by administrative authorities.
