Costa Rican workers earn the highest salaries

Costa Rica pays the highest salaries in Central America, according to a study by consulting firm Hay Group.

A person in a manager position in the country can earn up to $8,000 a month, while in Honduras the same post earns some $5,900.

The same person would earn about $4,000 in Panama, the region's strongest economy.
