Cuba and El Salvador in talks on partical-reach agreement to boost trade

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

El Salvador and Cuba are expected to hold the first round of talks in Havana  to establish a partial-reach trade accord.

The effort is in response to Salvadoran firms that sell their goods to Cuba and want a legal framework to increase trade.

A memorandum of understanding on trade was signed during a visit by President Mauricio Funes to Havana in October.
