Delays over Tahoe mine closure hit Guatemalan economy

The suspension of operations at the San Rafael mine of Canada's Tahoe Resources is badly hurting the Guatemalan economy, said central bank chief Sergio Recinos.

Only two days ago, the local indigenous population has asked for the mine to be completely abandoned.
