Delta announces new El Salvador-Los Angeles flight

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines announced it will operate a new direct flight between El Salvador and Los Angeles starting July 2.

The route, still to be approved by authorities, will be covered by a 160-passenger capacity Boeing 737.

"With this new route we offer our customers greater connectivity as well as access to Delta's global network," Delta general director for Central America José Antonio Torres said.
