Digicel El Salvador to boost 4G services

Telecoms firm Digicel has planned to invest $45 million in El Salvador to expand its Fourth Generation, 4G, technology.

"We are at an inflexion point, going from a purely voice call market to a data market; that's why we are investing strongly in 4G," Digicel El Salvador president Francisco Alemán said.

Alemán added that the company remains optimistic about El Salvador's business climate.
