Eco-friendly buildings set new trend in Costa Rica

Environmentally friendly sustainable buildings are all the rage among Costa Rica's construction industry.

Once the environmental costs are included, homes made this way are no more expensive than those of conventional style.

Business leaders have established a code of regulations that allows buildings to be officially described as "eco-sustainable".
