Economic growth brings a positive glow to region in 2017

Economic growth in Central America is expected to grow next year, up from 3.7 percent in 2016, according to the latest projections of Eclac, the UN’s economic commissioon for Latin America.

This year, growth in Latin America is expected to contract by 0.9 percent this year and bounce back to an increase of 1.5 percent on average in 2017.
