Economy in Costa Rica has yet to react to the recovery in the United States

The recovery and constant good performance of the US economy since October 2010 has yet to show a positive impact on the Costa Rican economy.
In fact, between November of last year and this January, the Costa Rican economy has shown a constant deceleration.
The good news is that the building industry is slowly being driven by a rebound in the private sector credit.
