Eight companies bidding for Honduran airport

Eight companies are bidding for the contract for the Palmerola airport in Honduras.

The project aims to transform a US military base into a civil airport.

Invertion in the airport is expected to be $107 million, and 11,000 jobs are to be created during the construction stage.
