El Salvador agriculture loses $60 million

Representatives of El Salvador's agriculture industry have reported a loss of 6 million quintals of corn due to drought.
The figure represents an economic loss of $60 million.
The sector has asked the government to support the industry through irrigation programs, in order to minimize the impact of a drought that has swept the country.
