El Salvador and Belarus seek to bolster ties

The Ambassador of Belarus to Russia, Igor Petrishenko, and his Salvadoran counterpart Claudia Ivette Canjura, discussed ways of expanding biletaral ties in Moscow.

The parties exchanged opinions on the status and prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, science, technology and other areas, according to a statement.

In 2012 mutual trade totaled $5.6 million, largely in favor of Belarus.
