El Salvador approves accord with Europe

El Salvador became the last of the Central American countries to ratify the association agreement with Europe.

The agreement is crucial in the economic development of the country, said Jorge Daboub, president of the country's private enterprise association.

From August 1, El Salvador will have preferential access to a potential market of 28 European countries.
