El Salvador approves terms for La Union tender

El Salvador's port authority, CEPA, has approved the terms and conditions for the tender of La Unión port.

The terms were determined after CEPA consulted several countries and gathered the opinion of the four pre-qualified companies bidding for the project.

According to the conditions, the port will specialize in container handling, and the winning company must invest $30 million over the next 10 years.
