El Salvador candidate aims for ties with Venezuela

Salvador Sánchez Cerén was unveiled as candidate for El Salvador's governing FMLN party.

Sánchez Cerén, who is currently vice-president of the country, said he wants to work towards integrating El Salvador with the rest of Latin America. He aims to strengthen ties with Venezuela.

Sánchez also stated he would like to strengthen his country's relations with Brazil, Russia, India and China.
