Salvadoran and foreign business leaders have plans for 72 projects in El Salvador, which together would mean an investment of up to $572 million.
Financing for the projects will be through the Millennium Challenge Corporation in Washington.
The projects would be public or semi-public, and would receive funds from a private investment group known as Apuesta por InversionES, which is included in a proposal that would eventually lead to a Fomilenio II.
