El Salvador plans mobile spectrum auction

El Salvador has announced the auction of 20MHz of mobile spectrum in the 1900MHz (PCS) band on 12 December.

The regulator, Siget, has called for potential bidders to submit applications by 4 December, Developing Telecoms reports.
