El Salvador prepares for upcoming storm season
El Salvador is getting ready to face the time of year when storms abound, in a country considered among the most vulnerable in the world by the United Nations.
The National Civil Protection Department presented the 2012 plan, a project including the participation of 61,100 people organized in the communities.
The last major storm hit El Salvador hardly seven months ago when it dumped 55 inches of rain on El Salvador in 10 days, causing the worst flooding in the country´s history.
