Election promises on jobs find scant echo in Costa Rica

The candidates in the run-off for Costa Rica's presidential election have been promising several schemes to create jobs for an economy that faces a crisis over unemployment.

But the promises of the run-off rivals, Carlos Alvarado and Fabricio Alvarado, have been cold-shouldered by business leaders.
