Energy firms in Colombia boosted by crude prices

Colombian stocks rose Monday as energy firms received a lift from higher crude oil prices.

The Colcap index, a benchmark for the Colombian Stock Exchange, climbed 0.45 percent to end at 1,713.68 points.

Pacific Rubiales, a Toronto-based firm that operates Colombia's largest oilfield, rose 0.51 percent.
