Europe and Nicaragua boost small firms

The European Union and Nicaraguan producers have trained some 100 small and medium firms from the Central American nation, in order for them to fully exploit the association agreement between Europe and Central America.
The training was given during an event called Euroforum, an initiative by the European Union, the Nicaraguan association of producers and exporters, Apen, and the Central American Integration System.
The training sessions focused on labelling and packaging for sectors such as textile, meat, honey, processed food and handcrafts.
