Europe-Colombia flights seen surging this year

Flights between Colombia and Europe are expected to surge after European authorities exempt Colombian travellers from the Schengen visa.

Avianca, Iberia, Air France and Lufthansa are the airlines operating flights between Europe and Colombia, while Portugal's TAP is expected to begin in July this year.

After TAP begins operations to Colombia, the South American country will have 863 international flights each week.
