Europe eyes stronger business ties with Panama

European Commission vice president Antonio Tajani said a meeting with Panamanian and European business leaders was successful.

"I'm very pleased with our visit to Panama. The business leaders are working on deals, which is a positive sign," he added.

Tajani is heading a business delegation that will also visit Argentina and Paraguay, in an effort to boost ties between Latin American and Europe.
