European Union assigns disaster relief for $13.7 million

The European Union will finance $13.7 million for 22 projects to prevent disasters in Central America.

 

The European Union’s Program for the Prevention of disasters said that the money will be spent on public works for emergency purposes, the development of risk maps and early-warning systems, and other measures.

 

The funds will come from the seventh stage of the program that will run from the end of next year.
