FDA allows free entry to Costa Rica for high-tech biomedical equipment

FDA has approved free entry to Costa Rica for certified equipment for biomedical purposes without any permitting procedure.

The Costa Rican Health ministry signed an accord with the FDA on fast-track procedures.

The US ambassador, Anne Andrew, said the accord is a big step forward in bringing the very latest medical tecnology to Costa Rica.
