Fears over possible exit of major banks

Companies in Central America and the Caribbean are preparing contingency plans in case of decisions by major international banks to cut off their intermediaries in the developing world, according to Reuters.

A World Bank executive says that the banks want to get out of countries that present risks in terms of money-laundering and white-collar crime.
