Festival of the Flowers boosts tourism to Medellin

The Festival of the Flowers attracted more than 11,000 tourists to the city of Medellín, Colombia.

Over the past five years, the festival has seen a 164 percent increase in international tourist arrivals, according to official data.
The festival is the most important social event in the city.
