Firms expand businesses throughout Colombia

Foreign companies investing in Colombia are showing an increasing interest in investing in areas of the country other than Bogotá and Medellín.

Last year, companies started businesses in 15 states, almost half of the country's territory.

Companies from Turkey, Puerto Rica, the United States and Germany started operations in Cali, Barranquilla, Cúcuta, Bolívar and Villavivencio.
