Fishery cooperation between governments of Russia and Nicaragua strengthened

The governments of Russia and Nicaragua are interested in strengthening cooperation in the fisheries sector, exploring Nicaraguan exclusive economic zone in the Pacific Ocean and the possible construction of a processing plant.

The two countries recently agreed a pact of economic, scientific and technical cooperation in Moscow.

Nicaragua submitted 21 projects to the second session of the Joint Commission for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
