Fitch gives stable outlook for Honduran banks

Fitch Ratings gave Honduras's commercial banking sector a stable outlook for next year.

Stability will be higher for foreign banks, whose performance is linked to their headquarters.

The banks' profitability will remain moderate and in line with their historic average, although their efficiency will continue to be among the weakest in the region, Fitch said.
