Free-zone plants switch base from Honduras to Nicaragua

Wednesday, March 23, 2011

Two free-zone plants have closed shop in Honduras and moved to Nicaragua, along with 2,000 jobs.

Industrialists in Honduras have complained that the relatively high wages in their country have prompted such moves.
