Fund cuts Panama's growth rate forecast for 2014

The International Monetary Fund cut Panama's economic growth forecast to 6.9 percent for 2014.

However, the Fund left this year's forecast for the country at 7.5 percent.

Ricardo Quijano, Panama's Trade and Industry Minister, said several international financial bodies see Panama maintain growth levels of above 7 percent over the next four years.
