Funes relaunches housing program with aim from Central American Bank

The president of El Salvador, Mauricio Funes, relaunched a new house-building program to be financed by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration.

 

The “Home for everyone” program foundered for lack of support from private banks. Now the government has been obliged to revise it.

 

Five housing projects are to be placed in several points of the country with a total investment of $80 million, including $50 million from the Central American Bank.
