Gamesa to build and install wind farm in Nicaragua

Gamesa signed a contract to build, deliver and install the 44 megawatt Eolo wind energy farm as a turnkey project in southwestern Nicaragua.

The project will be owned by Eolo de Nicaragua, which is owned by Globeleq Mesoamerica Energy.

Gamesa will install 22 of its G90 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2 MW, which it will manufacture in Spain and the US during 2012.
