Gas cargoes boost rise in Panama Canal

The Panama Canal ended the 2019 fiscal year with a record tonnage that amounted to a 6.2 percent increase compared to 2018.

During this year, transits for liquefied natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas rose by 37.6 and 6.9 percent respectively, representing the largest gain across all segments, Seatrade reports.
