Germany and CABEI seek to boost region

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration, CABEI, along with Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, BMZ, are studying ways to work together to boost social and economic development in Central America.

CABEI chief Nick Rischbieth met with BMZ's head for Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean, Klaus Krämer, in order to talk about joint cooperation for the region.

During the meeting, Rishcbieth highlighted CABEI's progress in the region in three priority factors: sustainable economic development, promotion of small and medium enterprises and boosting energy efficiency.
