Guatemala and Mexico sign oil exploration accord

Guatemalan president Otto Pérez, and his Mexican counterpart Enrique Peña Nieto, have signed an oil exploration accord.

Peña Nieto said the accord will be based on a similar agreement between Mexico and the United States.

Perez pointed out the commitment from Peña Nieto to strengthen ties between Mexico and Central America.
