Guatemala and Nicaragua among best desinations

 

Guatemala and Nicaragua are among Travel Channel's best tourism destinations of 2015.

The ranking highlights the historic colonial town of Antigua Guatemala, as well as its Mayan ruins and Lake Atitlán.

Nicaragua for its part was included due to its extreme sports potential, such as Volcano Surfing, where participants surf down an active volcano on a wooden board.
