Guatemala and Taiwan ink bilateral declaration

The presidents of Taiwan and Guatemala signed a declaration for bilateral ties yesterday.

Taiwan leader Ma Ying-jeou described the declaration as representing a rock-solid commitment to taking two-way exchanges to new heights.

“Guatemala remains a staunch diplomatic ally of more than 70 years, with the two countries enjoying extensive cooperation in many areas,” he added.
